Najpopularnije boje su crna i maslinasta, a krzno dolazi u svim nijansama bež boje, u crnoj boji, ali čak i zanimljivim bojama poput plave i čak i roze. Najčešće imaju veliku kragnu i kaiš oko struka te kopčanje na dugmiće, u jednom ili dva reda. Takav klasičan kroj je najpoznatiji, ali postoje i brojni drugi modeli, sa visokim ovratnicima, zvonolikim rukavima, karnerima, dodacima od krzna i slično.
